This article was part of the promotion for the live album, as the company hoped to boost sales of all the Dead's previous albums.<br /><br />(I mainly just omitted lists of the songs on the albums & who sang what, which was a bit too tedious for me. Another part of the article was also quoted in the last "Promoting the Live Album" post.) <br /><br />Note that Garcia's solo album is supposed to come out in November. This being a Warner Bros piece, you'd think they'd know. My guess is that his release date was pushed back to January '72 once the GD live album proved to be so successful.
